From Stripper to Saint

NAOMI Ann Bowers born to dance, her parents thought since the day she was born. For her mother, she was the answered prayer; for her dad, the sunlight in the sky. Growing up in the Suburbs of Las Vegas, Naomi had big dreams for herself-and the world was her platter. But after her Grandma's passing to cancer, her parent's divorce followed soon after.

With her innocence fading each day, life was taking a turn, and she needed to grow up fast. High school came and so did Rodney, her first love. The sun was finally shining on her until one day she found out she was pregnant, but Rodney wasn't the father. Naomi was falling from grace, and another part deep within her was about to emerge. She named her-Scarlet.

With every decision she made, was a step closer into a deep dark world filled with bright neon lights and the stench of liquor and musky cigarettes. The more secrets she kept, the more she found herself drawn into the storm of regret, guilt, and coldness. Staring at the mirror was no longer the same. She was trapped in her own body. To escape, she needed to take a leap of faith into something much bigger than everything she ever knew, to find her way back to the light-and discover a desire she thought was long lost inside her heart.
