The precarious status of males on college campuses is both alarming and understudied. Critical Praxis of College Men and Masculinities help us think about the range of issues and concerns that must be taken into account when thinking about this population. It blends attention to what is going on for them in the Ivy Tower, how they process it, how they are thought about by others, and what kind of interventions via policy and social service must be brought to bear to improve their experiences and prospects. This is a lot to pull together in one volume. Yet, in Critical Praxis, it is done so with clarity and precision. This book is designed to help these males think better about themselves and for all of those who are concerned about them to do so as well.
