Crisis Intervention

Addresses the tangible, concrete needs of both clients and helpers in response to crisis situations, especially those among young adults. Though they focus on alcohol and drug abuse in addition to potential suicides, they also adopt a broad focus on crisis situations in response to developmental concerns of living. Necessary information for effective intervention is presented, as well as lists of resources, such as books for young adults, friends and families, professional helpers, films and resource agencies.
