Sisters Anthea and Wendy Turner grew up in Stoke-on-Trent and went on to shine in the world of television - Anthea as a familiar face on Blue Peter and GMTV, and Wendy as a journalist, broadcaster, and animal champion. Today, they share a joyful, creative partnership, bringing to life a charming children’s book series set beneath London’s bustling tube stations. Underneath the Underground has introduced a whole new generation of young readers - and many adults! - to a host of endearing furry characters who enjoy busy lives within their mice communities, running parallel to and often converging with us humans. Their magical adventures capture Anthea and Wendy's own fascination with London and their belief that with friendship, teamwork and resilience, we can achieve anything!
