Chemical Reaction Engineering

This is a compact but complete course in chemical reaction engineering, one of the main sections of a chemical engineering degree usually taught in the second year. Materials balance in the most common reactor types is used to develop design methods for them. This is extended to include multiple reactions and non-isothermal reactions and, temperature dependence of reaction rates leading to a discussion of non-ideal (real) reactors.
