Prof. Sabu Thomas is a globally renowned scientist and one of the leading researchers in polymer science and nanotechnology. He currently serves as Professor of Polymer Science & Engineering and was the former Vice Chancellor of Mahatma Gandhi University, Kerala, India. Prof. Thomas is internationally recognized for his pioneering work on polymer blends, nanocomposites, green materials, and sustainable polymers. Dr. Uddandarao Priyanka is a Researcher and Academician specializing in nanobiotechnology and environmental biotechnology applications. She is currently working as an Adhoc Faculty Member in theDepartment of Biotechnology at the National Institute of Technology Andhra Pradesh, where she teaches courses related to bioprocessengineering and downstream processing and supervises several undergraduate research projects. She completed her Doctor of Philosophy in Chemical Engineering from the National Institute of Technology Karnataka, Surathkal, followed by a postdoctoral research position at the University of Galway in the Republic of Ireland, funded by Science Foundation Ireland. Her research focuses on microbial nanobiohybrids, photocatalytic degradation of pollutants, and wastewater treatment, and she has published extensively in internationally reputed scientific journals. She has been the recipient of multiple national and international recognitions, including the Water Advanced Research and Innovation Fellowship funded by the Department of Science and Technology, Government of India, the University of Nebraska–Lincoln, and the Indo–United States Science and Technology Forum and a Summer Research Fellowship funded by the Department of Science and Technology in collaboration with the Indian Academy of Sciences. Dr. Priyanka also serves as co-editor for scientific books published by the International Water Association Publishing and Elsevier, and she actively contributes to academic workshops, seminars, and international conferences, demonstrating her commitment to scientific research, teaching, and outreach. Eric D. van Hullebusch is a Full Professor in Biogeochemistry of Engineered Ecosystems at the Institut de Physique du Globe de Paris, Université Paris Cité, France. He holds a Ph.D. in Aquatic Chemistry and Microbiology fromUniversité de Limoges. After a Marie Curie fellowship at Wageningen University & Research, where he worked on optimizing anaerobic sludge reactorswith respect to trace metalspeciation and bioavailability, he was appointed Associate Professor in 2005 at Université Gustave Eiffel. A very prolific researcher and author, his key interests lie in the biogeochemistry of metals and metalloids in engineered systems, pollutant remediation, and circular resource recovery through biohydrometallurgical techniques. He is especially focused on sustainable strategiesfor waste treatment, soil remediation, and recovering technology-critical elementsfrom agricultural and industrial wastes.
