Dr. Kyriakos Dimitriadis is an elected Assistant Professor and Interventional Cardiologist at the First Department of Cardiology, School of Medicine, National and Kapodistrian University of Athens, Hippokration General Hospital in Greece. His expertise includes interventional cardiology, hypertension, cardiovascular medicine, blood pressure, atherosclerosis, heart failure, echocardiography, internal medicine, clinical cardiology, myocardial infarction, structural heart disease and atrial fibrillation. Dr. Dimitriadis is also the Chair of the Working Group on “Device-based therapies for the treatment of hypertension with the European Society of Hypertension. He has a particular research interest in coronary and structural heart interventions, with more than 150 peer reviewed publications in esteemed medical journals.Konstantinos Tsioufis is Professor of Cardiology and Director of the First Department of Cardiology, University of Athens, Hippokration Hospital, Greece. Professor Tsioufis works as an interventional Cardiologist and Hypertension Specialist. He has special interest in cardiorenal disease, heart failure, hypertension, neuromodulation and peripheral arterial disease. He was a post-doctoral fellow at the Veterans Affairs Medical Centre, at Georgetown University in Washington DC, USA. He has more than 760 publications in peer-reviewed journals, and more than 16000 citations. He was a member of the Task Force for the 2018 ESC/ESH hypertension guidelines, for the 2021 ESC guidelines on CV prevention, and for the 2023 ESH hypertension guidelines. He is currently Vice Dean of the School of Medicine, University of Athens and he has served as President of European Society of Hypertension and President of the Hellenic Society of Cardiology.
