Tsuyoshi Takaki published his first one-shot, Freaks, in Jump SQ Crown in Japan in 2016. He began the serialization of Black Torch in Jump SQ. later that year and the series was moved to Jump+ before it concluded at five volumes in 2018. His next series, Heart Gear, began serialization on Jump+ in 2019 and concluded at seven volumes in 2024.
