Dr. Md Zillur Rahman is an Associate Professor of Mechanical Engineering at Ahsanullah University of Science and Technology, Dhaka, Bangladesh. He earned his PhD in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Auckland, New Zealand. With over ten years of research experience, Dr. Rahman specializes in fiber-reinforced polymer and concrete composite materials, hybrids, and nanomaterials. His expertise encompasses the mechanical properties and durability of composites, structural vibration and damping, bio-inspired design, and computational simulation. Throughout his career, he has actively contributed to advancing knowledge in composite materials and nanotechnology, focusing on their practical engineering applications. He is also involved in editing multiple scientific books and engaging in international research collaborations and conference presentations, demonstrating a strong commitment to the field of materials science and engineering. His work aims to develop innovative, sustainable composite materials for structural and industrial use.Dr. Deju Zhu's research focus at Hunan University has been on high-performance fiber/textile-reinforced composite materials at Hunan University. He is the Hunan Province Furong Scholar Distinguished Professor, Director of Building Materials Center, and Deputy Director of Hunan Provincial Key Laboratory of Green Advanced Civil Engineering Materials and Application Technology. He has published more than 170 SCI / EI journal papers, has been awarded 4 invention patents, delivered more than 20 invited talks at academic conferences, and jointly held 3 conferences as co-chair. Kalim Deshmukh is a senior researcher at the New Technologies-Research Centre, University of West Bohemia, Pilsen, Czech Republic. He has over 20 years of research experience working with a wide variety of polymers and nanomaterials, including metal oxide nanoparticles and two-dimensional (2D) materials like graphene and MXenes. His research interest is mainly focused on the synthesis, characterization, and investigations of the structure–property relationship of polymer nanocomposites and nanohybrids reinforced with different nanofillers, including various metal oxides, carbon allotropes, and novel 2D materials for energy storage and conversion, energy harvesting, electromagnetic interference shielding, gas sensing, and biomedical applications.
