The child, Zion Cross, grows-up on the cold streets of Detroit, bouncing from one unstable home to another, struggling to protect his half-sister Charity from the harsh realities of his jaded life. While he desperately attempts to escape his checkered past and create a new life for them, she is more concerned with saving his soul.
