Vietnam veteran and ex-CIA Paramilitary Operations Officer, Steve Fuller, teaches at the University of Zambia. After his extensive military service he just wants to live quietly, but when the Rhodesian Air Force bombs Zimbabwe People's Liberation Army training camps near Lusaka he finds himself drawn into the African freedom struggle. Henry Kissinger is instrumental in organizing negotiations between the liberation groups and Ian Smith's white minority government set to take place in a railroad car on Victoria Falls Bridge.
