The Knocked-Out Eye of the Hyena is a collection of Somali folktales, compiled and translated by Georgi Kapchits. This bilingual book is written in both Somali and English, making it accessible to a wider audience. Georgi Kapchits earned his Ph.D. with a focus on Somali syntax and has lectured on the Somali language at various universities in Moscow and Berlin.
