Where Did Mommy Go?

Where Did Mommy Go? Little Sarah turned five years old just two months ago.  Today, there are many people at Sarah's house again. Most are very sad and she doesn't understand why more people are at her house today than there were on her birthday. Some people Sarah has never seen before. There is lots of food and every dessert imaginable. 

Is someone else having a surprise birthday party? she wondered. Her Daddy seems sad and she can't seem to find her Mommy anywhere. This worried Sarah.

This beautifully illustrated and well-written book deals with explaining to a child about the loss of a loved one. It is a difficult position to be in and equally as difficult to help the child to understand.
