When the Smoke Cleared

"When the Smoke Cleared" follows a young boy who unintentionally witnesses the last moments leading up to the Martyrdom of the Bab, the Herald of the Baha'i Faith. Drawn to the Bab's personage, after only a glimpse of Him and the sweetness of His words, Ali is saddened that he was deprived of the opportunity to meet the Bab. Yet through a dream he learns that no earthly power can separate him from his heart's desire and that prayer allows him to draw nigh on Him always.
