He writes, "Irrational government expansion has taken place throughout 150 years of two-party control of the nation's governmental institutions, and it has grown so large and so unwieldy that the People have become apathetic. They simply believe they can't change the system. I would argue that our federal bureaucracy has become so large and disjointed that our elected leadership in Washington, DC have lost a significant amount of control over the management of government affairs and our tax dollars.
