Women held a prestigious position in Indian culture. She is considered a Goddess, mother, sister and companion. In almost every century, whether it was Vishphala of Rig Veda or Queen Kaikeya, Yashvati or Prabhavati or Rudramma Devi or Tribhuvanna Mahadevi - I or Ahilyabai Holkar or Chennamma or Meera, all have proved that in Indian culture women were not only educated but also empowered.
