United Nations Global Compact

The United Nations Global Compact Local Network Report 2010 sheds light on the ways in which the Local Networks have carved out a place for themselves to spread the Global Compact message in their communities and countries as they prod companies into action. Using charts, graphs and accompanying text gathered from data filed in the Knowledge Sharing System, this report also breaks down the Local Network's composition and operating patterns in four regions: Africa/Middle East, Americas, Asia/Oceania and Europe/Commonwealth of Independent States (CIS). Readers can view a range of snapshots, such as how these regions are setting up legal entities, to a sign of their efforts to become more independent - and their use of communications tools like the Internet and newsletters.
