There's No Such Thing as Little Girls

Lennie Monster loves nighttime. He loves playing in his dark, shadowy room, eating lizard eggs and bug sundaes, and a spooky bedtime story at dawn. But when the sun comes up his room becomes a scary place, because Lennie is sure there is a little girl over is bed.

Mommy and Daddy assure him there's no such thing as little girls, but he has seen her ribbons and dimples and rosy cheeks. She is absolutely terrifying. But Grammy encourages Lennie not to be afraid of someone just because they might seem different.

With an open mind and a little courage, Lennie finds that little girls really aren't that scary after all. And that this one is the best friend a monster could hope for.

A twist on a classic childhood fear, this is a story about embracing differences in others and looking beyond them to find friendship in the most unlikely places.
