The Walker

Yonas Tassew is the author of his first novel The Walker: Breaking the Fourth Wall. He was born in San Jose, California on September 2, 1997. Yonas was age four when his father, Dereje Gedamu, passed away in 2002. He is raised by his mother, Denkey Adame, with his younger sibling, Betty Tassew. He and his family moved to Tukwila, Washington when he was five. He has autism and has been diagnosed with obsessive-compulsive disorder at age three. Yonas has worked hard to get his life's work to the people.
