THE TRUTH is a semi-autobiographical novel. The author wraps the dark center of her truths with the candy coating of a steamy fictional love story.  

When author Frances Slater, a.k.a Dahlia Frost, wrote and published her novel, Daddy Issues, she had no idea the pandora's box she would open. Her name leaked, but it is after Roland Hughes, ex-boyfriend, turned actor, and heartthrob makes a grand entrance into her book signing and her life that he brings with him the national spotlight. Dahlia's desire to stay invisible becomes increasingly difficult once swept up in a highly visible relationship and an unpredictable and danger-filled world. 

Visibility leads to threats, threats to stalking, stalking to kidnapping. But why?

You board THE TRUTH in the same cautious manner as a rollercoaster. Once buckled into the car, it makes its slow ascent to the sky, roughly 50 feet. Click, Click, Click. Anticipation weighs in your stomach and your chest. Click, Click, Click. Then the rapid descent, approximately 70 mph to the loop to loop, waiting for you like a monster with its mouth open. You finally feel your throat and lungs open to take a full breath, and then you're thrown into another loop as your body is jolted left, right, forward, and begin again. Then the car screeches to a DEAD stop.
