Beatriz Villanueva Rudecindo was born in Santo Domingo, Dominican Republic. She studied Philosophy and Literature in La Universidad Autonoma de Santo Domingo, and has a Masters Degree in Education from City College in NYC. She has two daughters who work in Education and two beautiful grandchildren.
