The Spacesuit

Inspired by real people and events, 'The Spacesuit' follows Ellie, a young seamstress, who was part of the group of women who helped create the first spacesuit to withstand space. The story guides readers through the whole process, through their difficulties and triumphs, and shows how sometimes you just need to think outside the box. With the 50th anniversary of the US moon landing approaching, 'The Spacesuit' is a celebration of the hidden figures behind the major success. Illustrated by Ariel Landy.
