The Search of My Life is the true story of Difference, a girl who begins searching for happiness at a young age, the moment she senses something is missing. The second youngest of four girls who must live with their strict aunt when their mother remarries, Difference struggles to find her perfect place in the world.

As she grows older, she is unable to decide what she must do to discover true happiness; neither her children nor her loves can fill the void in her life. As a result, she begins to grow weary, saddened by failure. Her life is a journey of mishaps and rough experiences that leave her feeling hopeless and empty.

One day, as Difference is driving, the answer finally comes to her, and her life is changed forever.
