The Royal Recompense

In the midst of intensifying hostilities between the kingdoms of Serall and Harlond, an unwelcome figure from Bertram III's past appears. Despite his steadfast resentment, the king is tasked with working alongside her in an effort to maintain peace amongst the kingdoms. This grows increasingly difficult as tempers and passions flare.

As Estrilda endeavors to assist her king, she is ensnared by the advances of two young suitors. While one simultaneously enrages and captivates her, the other playfully pushes her boundaries. Forced to confront long-held insecurities and beliefs, she strives to discern the desires of her heart.
