The Queen's Marksman

In the 19th century, a young Englishman signs on for more adventure than he expects when he enlists in the army to fight in Afghanistan. After a successful two year campaign in the Khyber Pass, he returns home to a hero's welcome and a knighthood. But his service to Queen Victoria becomes far more dangerous when he encounters two villains. One is the guest of the Russian ambassador, who wants to exploit him for his wealth of secrets; and the other is a serial killer who commits the most hideous crimes imaginable.

Legends of The Dragon's Blood is a series of science fiction adventure novels featuring alien vampires who come from a planet called Antellus, located somewhere in the Cygnus constellation. Each book relates the adventures of their descendents, some of whom traveled to Earth in the remote past, and who are caught in the middle of events they have witnessed. The common theme of the vampire as hero is at the center of each story.
