Anthony Ogungbure Adebayo holds a First Class degree in philosophy from Olabisi Onabanjo University, Ogun State, Nigeria where he graduated as the Best Student both at the Departmental and Faculty levels in 2008. He was awarded the prestigious University Governing Council Award for Academic Excellence by the Senate of Olabisi Onabanjo University in 2007. He has published works in both local and foreign reputable journals including, Journal of Pan African Studies, Arizona, USA, Thought and Practice: A Journal of the Philosophical Association of Kenya, New Series and the International Journal of Humanities. He is currently researching into Epistemology, Phenomenology and African Philosophy at the Department of Philosophy, University of Ibadan, Nigeria. He also teaches courses in Philosophy at the Dominican Institute, Ibadan, Nigeria and at the S.S. Peter and Paul Major Catholic Seminary, Ibadan, Nigeria. He is a member of International Society for Philosophers (ISFP), United Kingdom, Nigerian Philosophical Assoiation and the Research and Development Network, Nigeria. He is currently serving as the Editor-in-chief of Amoye: Journal of African Philosophy & Studies.
