The Praise of Folly and Other Writings

Erasmus of Rotterdam (1466-1536) was Northern Europe's leader of Renaissance thought. This edition of his most famous work, The Praise of Folly also includes selections from his other essays and two versions of the foreword to his translation of the New Testament.
