The existing situations related to the market-worker-organization process and the context of productivity have led all types of workers to adapt and manage creativity towards the factors of physical and psychological health protection in the labor space. The increased competitiveness in the market, the saturation of jobs and advancement of technology in the space of the world of work in general, especially in the area of law, has meant that the work of professionals who take on this craft has also undergone strong changes that have impacted the profession. One realizes, then, that the challenges that these professionals face allow us to reflect on a practice of law that offers serious risks to the mental health of the worker. In Brazil, studies on psychological suffering (depression, anxiety, and stress) in this group of workers are still scarce. This book, in light of the concept of mental health and taking into consideration the theme of psychological suffering, seeks to evaluate the psychological factors of protection used by lawyers for the maintenance of psychological health.
