The Earth Is Deaf

Knowing the history of the Spanish Civil War and the subsequent dictatorship can not only be done through the work of historians and the sources they access. In this case, music is the storyline on which it aims to offer a social vision of those who were defeated in the Civil War through true facts, personal experiences and historical sources. Throughout these songs, Barricada manages to bring the listener or reader of the lyrics closer to other events that have not had such repercussions but that marked the present and the future of a large part of the Spanish citizenship. They intend to give a voice to the voiceless, to those who have not been heard and whose wounds are still open. Thanks to this album the earth will stop being a little less deaf.
