The Discovery of the Large, Rich, and Beautiful Empire of Guiana, by Sir W. Ralegh: - Edited Title

'Reprinted from the Edition of 1596, with some unpublished documents relative to that Country' and 'edited, with Copious Explanatory Notes and a Biographical Memoir'. The volume also includes the anonymous, 'Of the Voyage for Guiana', probably written in 1596, Ralegh's journal of the second voyage, 1617-18, and miscellaneous documents. Typographical errors of the 1596 text were corrected. This is a new print-on-demand hardback edition of the volume first published in 1849.
