Like many young women today, Laurie fell victim to the unrealistic expectations of society to be thin and to look like the models in magazines. She stepped into the dark world of eating disorders in order to obtain the impossible and began her fight with bulimia. On her journey to healing, she found love, forgiveness, and strength in some unexpected places.
