The Cost of My Freedom

When we think of freedom, we think of a life that benefits from the quality or state of being free. There is the idea of having no constraints in the choices that we make. Freedom speaks to the fact that one is liberated from whatever previously held him captive. There is a lot being said these days about human rights, which include things such as Freedom of speech, Freedom of assembly, Freedom of worship etc.


Despite all of the efforts made by individuals and world organizations, there are still many nations and perhaps billions of individuals who do not enjoy what one would call this basic freedom. As you read this book, there are many people who are fighting for their freedom because there are those who want to rob them of their rights; and so, what we see being experienced in this world is the sad realization that there is no real freedom outside of Jesus Christ.


In The Cost of My Freedom, Samuel Fowler addresses the issues that faced the human race because of the act of disobedience in the Garden of Eden, which placed us all in a state of bondage, and how Jesus came and set us free through His death and resurrection.


He also dealt with what we would face when we form a real relationship with Christ, and how He will fulfill his promise, never to leave us alone.
