The Book of Moon

Mi'hal' is different from all the other analong, not just on the outside but in ways even she doesn't understand. Written as an allegory of childhood mental illness, characters and events in The Book of Moon: An Loúr ihn G'éalach are based on the author's experience as a child and teenager growing up with a mental illness with the intent to help create awareness of the isolation, discrimination and stigma experienced by the mentally ill in their everyday lives.
