War is coming. 

Rumours abound of a threat in the east. An unknown enemy gathers at the Ipsican border while in the Shen capital, the Knight Marshall struggles to contain the trecherous tide of ambition in the heart of the nation’s Council of Lords. A hero of countless battlefields, how can he fight such a seditious foe; an enemy that will not show its face?

Having fled the plague city of Wahib, Stefon and his friends find refuge in Choat, but soon their peace is shattered then their sponsor is found brutally murdered. As their investigations uncover a trade war in the prosperous city, 

Stefon must unmask the killer quickly, before his ever-burgeoning powers consume him.

With the chill winds of the changing seasons driving Andi’s band of outlaws south  across  the  seas,  their  task  seems  less  plausible  by  the  day:  find  a forgotten sceptre lost in the bowels of a dead city—but to what end? What could they possibly hope to achieve with such a relic? For is magic not a fairy-tale?
