Teachers' Images

This book aims at highlighting aspects of the Greek teaching profession and its evolution. It deals with teachers' training within the educational system and their feelings, thoughts, views, impasses and engrossments, as well. It also focuses on how society confronts them and refers to the relatively limited autonomy, which is due to National curriculum. The case of female teachers is also discussed.
