Tapestry

Tapestry collects a number of the author's life experiences--some trivial, some introspective, some dealing with historical events. She re-creates these happenings in a style that is forthright and compelling and will pull the reader back in time along the strand of the tapestry she is describing. For instance, she may be dealing with a snake on her bathroom floor or remembering from her childhood the excitement of her family's first radio or, years later, the thrill of being present at a Presidential inauguration. In a section entitled, Persons I Wish I'd Met, three pieces of biographical interest are included. One of these is a chapter from Patricia Mote's popular biography of Cleveland's legendary television journalist, Dorothy Fuldheim.
