Wound healing is an intricate process in which the tissue repair itself after injury. It is a process that involves the activation of intercellular pathways, coordination of tissue integrity and homeostasis. Depending on the nature and depth of the injury, the wound healing can be classified. The acute wound is a breakdown of the integrity of the soft-tissue envelope surrounding any portion of the body. Suturing is defined as the joining of incised tissues with needle and thread so that the tissue bind together and heal. Silverstein LH 1999 defined the word "future" as any strand of material used to bind (Tie) blood vessels or approximate tissues to promote an optimal healing, hemostasis, reduction of the wound size to be repaired, prevention of Good unnecessary destruction and to withstand normal functional stresses. When the proper suture technique is used with the appropriate thread type and diameter, tension is placed on the wound margins so primary intention healing occurs. Accurate apposition of Surgical flap is significant to patient comfort.
