Surfaces

Surfaces: Statics, Dynamics and Growth draws together contributions from specialists in all aspects of the surface science of metals, semiconductors and insulators. Included are selected papers from The Institute of Physics Eighth Interdisciplinary Surface Science Conference, held in Liverpool in March 1989. Emphasis is placed on the following: . structure of clean and adsorbate-covered surfaces . characteristics of surface reactions and dynamics . mechanisms of growth and catalysis.
