Such Is Life

Anatoly Efremov is a professor of mechanical engineering, holder of several patents for inventions in applied mechanics. Author was born in 1939, on the eve of the WWII. His memoirs " Such is life" are referring to events of the time long gone. The historical storms, that have rolled over the collapsed Soviet Union, and have affected the fate and life of a Russian, are narrated with documentary precision. Decay and disintegration of Soviet totalitarian system, despair and hopelessness of existence of a human being in that system - is the main reason for the immigration of the author's family.
