Detroit-Our ride in the limo back to Michigan was like floating on air. Aside from the occasional stop for gas, the drivers kept peddle to the metal. I slept though most of the ride. I don't know whether it was the pills Spooky had given me or the fact that I had him as a protector watching over me that gave me such peace of mind. Which ever it was, by the time I had awoken we were back on the street of the Motor City. Spooky had drugged me, for what I can't say, maybe it was to knock me out until we got across the New York State limits of the big apple or it could have had to do with how I had dealt with Clifford's death and because he believed I could not handle knowing that I had taken another's man's life, he took the weight off my shoulder.' I did not know what to believe anymore at that point.
