On the day I was born on this earth,my path awaited my premeditatedfootprints.Imprinted in my mind was theroadmap to my destination,and the directions to getting theresewn into my heart.Inga Marie is a black immigrant who finds serenity in writing poetry, and applauds its beauty and power to heal many wounds. In a debut collection she began penning over fifteen years ago, Marie shares poems that address not only her life experiences of heartbreak, pain, rejection, love, and healing, but also a variety of themes that include human rights, universal equality, faith, motherhood, and what it means to be a black woman in today's world.
