"Slan Libh Boys" is the story of Liam Mellows, the son of a british soldier who became one of Ireland's unsung heros in its struggle for independence. After participating in the 1916 rising in county Galway, and in the war of independence, Liam Mellows was executed by free state forces in 1922. This book tells his story, often through the eyes of those whose lives were touched by one of Ireland's finest patriots. (The book contains an English version and an Irish version.)
