This book is an attempt to make an in depth analysis of the select works William Styron, an American writer. The sins committed by the characters, their remorse and the expiation attempted by them is vividly analyzed.The humanistic values of Styron and the need for possessing such ideals in this materialistic world is identified and highlighted.
