Savannah to Sweetwater

Savannah to Sweetwater is the story of survival and redemption. Set in the old South on the eve of the 1860 elections it is the story of Rachel and Andrew and the love they both tried to deny. Rachel, a daughter of the old South, clings with myopic tenacity to the past bringing her into conflict with the man who loves her and wants to rescue from her prison of bitterness and regret. When Andrew Meredith's conscience forces him to confront the evils of his time, he must choose between what is expedient and what is right. Further complicating their relationship is Andrew Meredith's mysterious attachment to the beautiful woman of color, Daphne Delucie.
