Renaissance Letters and Learning: In Memoriam Giovanni Aquilecchia

The essays in Renaissance Learning and Letters. In memoriam Giovanni Aquilecchia, edited by Dilwyn Knox and Nuccio Ordine, are for the most part versions of papers presented at a conference held at the Warburg Institute, 15 - 16 November 2002, in memory of Giovanni Aquilecchia, Professor of Italian at the University of London. The essays address many of Aquilecchia's interests: Niccolo Machiavelli, Pietro Aretino, Giordano Bruno, Torquato Tasso, pasquinades, Tommaso Campanella, Renaissance textual bibliography and Renaissance cosmology.
