Radiation Oncology

Radiation Oncology provides residents, fellows, and clinicians a practical, evidence-based guide to the current management of difficult cases in radiation oncology. Emphasis is upon the management of those difficult cases that are commonly seen in practice and the community practitioner would normally handle themselves. The book is presented in seven sections corresponding to the major treatment areas of radiation oncology. Each section includes 3 or 4 clinical challenges in that area along with an illustrative case. The case discussion includes an expert opinion on optimal management along with further brief comments on management alternatives from a second academic expert's perspective and from a community practitioner's perspective.
