Poems From The Heart

This book is written as my way of saying "Thank You" to so many people who have been instrumental in the forming of my life. I thank my mother, sisters, niece, my entire family and every human being that I have crossed paths with as I live. I am especially appreciative to have been under the Christian Leadership of my Pastor, The Reverend Dr. Morris L. Shearin, Sr., a man who daily demonstrates that "He walks with God"; and my pastor's wife, Mrs. Bertha Mae Shearin, who I have come to know and love in a very special way. I also say "Thank You" to my God for his unmerited favor and for allowing me to keep my humility throughout life. The challenges have been great but I have learned that "I can do all things through Christ which strengtheneth me," Philippians 4:13.
