It is a long saga of very brave and simple but intelligent folk who lived on this island.It was more of a paradise than a piece of land trapped with water.They beautifyied it with their vivid imagination. They managed to live with its beasts and even love them. The animals of the island formed the rich material they drew on to concoct their elaborate folk tales that remained for generations.
