The study of objects is a category of philosophy that highlights the theme of objects and their relations to the world, people, society, and other objects as well. Unlike some studies whose focus is also objects, the approach adopted here is one that seeks origins. The early Greeks, their literature and philosophy, are comprehended in a historical period where origins concerning objects may be contemplated. Going back to the sixth century BC, the early Greeks broke with tradition and established one of their own, based upon observation, discussion, and the discovery of Nature. An origin of another kind where objects are studied yet related to the previous, is that of Nature itself, designated in the book as D1. Within the context of Nature, building, ontology and its existents, gazes, lower-level communications, indicators, and reality are some of the themes examined. Thirdly regarding origins, the social realm alternatively called D2 is examined. Here object production, object contact, object flow, the notion of the object situation and ROs are given supreme attention. In the last part of the book explanations, theory, and practical possibilities concerning objects and object theory are explored.
