No Shame

During more than two decades as a church leader and educator, Cindy Bailey often witnessed Christians (especially women) who allowed shame and embarrassment to cripple their walk with Christ. She discovered that women repeatedly expressed a feeling of unworthiness regarding God's call for their lives. They seemed to feel that they weren't qualified or "good enough" to use their God-given talents.

The aim of this Bible study is to refute that premise and to show today's women that our Biblical predecessors had many odds against them (more than we have today), yet these ancient women served the Lord boldly and effectively, confident of God's will. They were not ashamed to repeat an unanswered prayer or rise to God's call, despite humble backgrounds and lacking resources. So modern women need to follow their example and cast off the yoke of shame that weighs them down. This is a great study with excellent documentation that is particularly appropriate for women's groups and adult Sunday school classes, yet is also useful for personal reading and devotion.
